Autonomous Administration warns of Turkish policy in Syria

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) warned yesterday the international community, the Global Coalition, Russia and the Syrian government of the dangerous policy Turkey applies in Syria.

In the same time, the AANES called to alienate from holding private interests with Turkey on the expense of the Syrian interests and its people.

In the fourth anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Afrin on January 20, 2018, the AANES released a statement saying “By the demographic change and enforced displacement, Turkey is planning for a fresh Turkification project aiming to strike the stability in Syria and split its community and geography”.

The most horrendous crimes and atrocities that have no relation to any moral and emotional criteria have been practiced in the four past years in Afrin, the statement said.

“Four years passed, Turkish intentions are now ostensible. All it aims is to strike stability, destroy the experience of democracy and hinder the track of the Syrian agreement and consensus,” the statement added.

The statement stressed that stability in Syria will not be achieved unless the issue of Turkish occupation is solved.

The Turkish practices serves Turkish territorial ambitions  and separatist projects in Syria, the statement noted.

Turkish allegations to preserve its national security, foster stability in Syria and support the so-called “opposition factions” amid international silence and silence of all actors to the conflict are but pretexts to cover its enmity practices and intentions of sabotage in Syria, the statement indicated.

Moreover, the statement called to unify all capabilities and potentials to liberate the occupied territories.

The AANES warned the international community and the Syrian national forces of the Turkish plans for supporting terrorism and revive the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) through organizing thousands of radical militias who fled to Turkey under the name of Syrian National Army (SNA).
