Settlers construct buildings afforded by Turkish loyalists in Syria’s Afrin
AFRIN, Syria (North Press) – Settlers started building constructions afforded by the Turkish-backed factions in Kafr Janna village in Afrin countryside, northern Syria.
Traders and brokers have constructed blocks inside Kafr Janna village in Afrin to sell and rent them later, a special source said to North Press.
The supporter faction is Jaysh al-Islam centered the area which put up structures inside Afrin city and its countryside to settle its militants and families from Rif Dimashq, the source added.
Several apartments, which were built accompanied by Jaysh al-Islam faction’s leaders, have been sold for $10,000 – $13,000 to IDPs from Idlib countryside and Hama, according to the source.
The city of Afrin and its villages, north of Aleppo, have been controlled by Turkish forces and the affiliated factions since March 2018.
