Reconciliation reflexes Syrian government’s wrong view, AANES
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), Abd Hamed al-Mehbash described the Syrian government endeavors to end the Syrian crisis through reconciliations as “analgesics” which does not treat.
He said in a statement to the official website of the AANES that the Syrian government insistence on reconciliations reflexes its wrong view regarding the Syrian crisis.
“The reconciliations will not solve the Syrian crisis and the Syrian government should not ignore the reality of the crisis and put it right,” he added.
“Since the foundation of the AANES, we seek to solve the Syrian crisis politically through dialogue, but the Syrian government sticks to settlements and reconciliations which all Syrians refuse,” he noted.
Al-Mehbash considered the statement and the demonstrations of Arab tribes, days ago, in Tabqa, Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor as a rejection to these reconciliations.
On January 14, Residents of the city of Tabqa, north Syria, took to the streets, rejecting the participation in the settlements that the Syrian government is talking about.
On January 11, sheikhs and dignitaries of tribes of Raqqa released a statement in which they rejected the settlements that the Syrian government is called for.
He warned against being drawn to these settlements, which the Syrian government is trying to impose on the Syrians’ demands in a democratic, pluralistic and decentralized Syria.
He called on the Syrian government to not ignore the AANES which gained its legibility from fighting terrorism and to brought stability in northeast Syria.
