Person injured in explosion of remnants of war in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – A resident of the town of Um al-Mayathen in the eastern countryside of Daraa, south Syria, was injured on Saturday when a bomb of remnants of war exploded on the outskirts of the town.
Abdurrahman al-Qaddah was injured in an explosion of a bomb, which is likely to be a remnant of the bombing of the area by government forces while the Syrian opposition controlled the area, a local resident told North Press.
The injured person was taken to the National Hospital in Daraa, as he was seriously injured, the source added.
The same source cited al-Qaddah’s family as saying he underwent surgery on his foot.
Late last month, a child lost his life and his two brothers were seriously injured in a bomb explosion on the outskirts of Namr town in the eastern Daraa countryside.
