Government soldier wounded in Syria’s Kobani countryside

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – A soldier of the Syrian government forces was wounded, on Friday, via bullets fired by Turkish forces in the border village of Koran, 28 kilometers east of Kobani.

“The government soldier was transferred to Kobani Hospital after being shot in his leg,” a local source of the village said.

The soldier was wounded in his thigh and he was given the first aid, according to a medical source of Kobani Hospital.

Yesterday, a member of the Syrian government forces was killed by sniper fire of the Turkish forces in the border village of Qaramogh, 20 km east of Kobani, northern Syria.

On January 8, the village of Qarahmog was bombed by Turkish forces, and six people of one family were wounded, including a four-year-old child whose leg was amputated.
