Iraqi security forces arrest an ISISI member
ERBIL KRG, Iraq (North Press) – On Thursday,the Iraqi security forces announced it arrested a man who joined al-Qaeda organization and then the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) and had participated in the rape of a Yazidi girl in Shingal (Sinjar) area west of the country.
The security forces published a video clip showing Iraqi forces storming the place of residence of the terrorist man in the city of Ninevehand arresting him.
In the video, the incarcerated ISIS member admits he had joined al-Qaeda organization and was jailed for one year and a half.
“After ISIS took control of the city, they discharged all the prisoners. Later, I joined them,” he said.
The man has participated in battles to support ISIS in attacks against Shingal. He also acknowledged he had raped a Yazidi girl.
“I was given a Yazidi girl in Shingal. I raped her,” he said in the video.
