Turkish forces shell villages north of Syria’s Hasakah

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Monday evening, the Turkish forces and the armed opposition factions backed by them bombed a village in the countryside of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.

The populated village of Kozaliya, west of the town of Tel Tamr, was hit with several shells by the Turkish forces. No damage or casualties have been reported so far, a source in the Tel Tamr Military Council, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told North Press. 

Over two weeks, villages and towns of the northern countryside of Hasakah have been witnessing military escalation by Turkey supported by the Syrian opposition actions reporting casualties and wounded including children and women.
