DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Monday evening, two people were killed in Daraa governorate, south Syria, amounting the death toll to six people in one day, in separate killing operations in Daraa and its countryside.
Hours before, two other people from Masakin Jalin, in the western countryside of Daraa, had been killed by unknown assailants.
Similarly, two people were killed on Monday afternoon by unknown gunmen in the northern countryside of Daraa.
“Both Ahmad Muhammad al-Masri and Ahmad al-Mahamid were killed after being shot by unidentified gunmen, in Sad Road neighborhood on the outskirts of Daraa al-Balad,” North Press reported local sources.
“Unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle directly fired at the two men,” the sources added.
The two men were seriously injured and transported to the National Hospital in the city of Daraa, but they died there, according to the sources.
In another context, a member of the government forces called Salih Jassem al-Zori, sustained multiple injuries in different parts of the body, after being shot in the town of al-Mazyrib town west of Daraa.
Local sources told North Press that al-Zori coms from the village of Khirbat Qais and he was a member of the National Security of the government forces.
Gunmen opened fire on the bread distributor’s car in the town of Tasil in the western countryside of Daraa this evening.
It should be mentioned that since the government forces controlled Daraa governorate, hundreds of people have been killed, despite the deployment of military checkpoints on the roads linking the cities and towns of Daraa.
The residents accuse the government forces of being behind these operations, especially after the second settlement, which ended at the beginning of last November.
