Missiles fired from Gaza Strip and hit Israel

ERBIL. KRG, Iraq (North Press) – On Saturday, the Israeli Army monitored two missiles that were fired from Gaza Strip toward Tel Aviv coast.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Avichay Adraee said, “earlier this morning two rockets were fired from Gaza Strip toward Mediterranean and hit the central Israel coast. There were no sirens warning of incoming rockets, in a sign that no projectiles were headed for populated areas”.  

The Iron Dome missile defense system was not activated for the same reason.

Police said there were no reports of injuries or damage.

Israel-Gaza Strip border has been calm since May war which lasted 11 days.
