Members of government forces wounded in Turkish bombing on Syria’s Aleppo

ALEPPO NORTHERN COUNTRYSIDE, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, three members of the Syrian government forces were wounded in a bombing of the Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions on areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, north Syria.

“A member of the government forces had his leg amputated and the other two were lightly wounded by the Turkish bombardment,” a military source told North Press.

“From their base stationed in Kaljibrin town, south of the city of Azaz, the Turkish forces bombed a government forces checkpoint between the villages of Quneitra and Soghanah in Sherawa district, south of Afrin,” the source added.

The source pointed out that dozens of shells fell on the two villages randomly.

More than three hundred displaced people from Afrin have been living in the northern countryside of Aleppo, since the Turkish invasion of the area in January 2018.

From time to time, villages in the northern countryside of Aleppo are repeatedly bombed by the Turkish forces and the armed factions affiliated with them.
