Turkey bombs north Syria’s Manbij

MANBIJ, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Turkish forces bombed several villages on the front lines in the countryside of Manbij, north Syria.

“The village of al-Yalanli and al-Fawaris farm, northwest of Manbij, were bombed by the Turkish forces, stationed in the villages of al-Shuwaiha and Zarzour in the eastern countryside of al-Bab city,” the media office of the al-Bab Military Council said.

The bombing coincided with a similar bombing by the Turkish base in the village of Sheikh al-Nasir, north of Manbij, of the villages of Jamousiya and al-Sayyada in the northwestern countryside of Manbij.

On December 27, the Manbij Military Council, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), foiled an infiltration attempt by the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions in northwest of Manbij, northern Syria.
