Death toll of drone attack on Syria’s Kobani raises to three

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – A medical source in the city of Kobani, northern Syria, said another civilian, who was injured yesterday by a drone attack, succumbed to his injuries, raising the total number to three people.

Two civilians were killed and seven others were injured yesterday in Kobani city in a Turkish drone attack.

The source added that four injured are still in critical condition.

“A Turkish drone targeted a house of a civilian in the city of Kobani, and that the wounded were in a critical condition,” the co-chair of the Interior Board in the Euphrates region, Bozan Khalil, had earlier told North Press.

A Turkish drone targeted a house in the city of Kobani, killing two civilians and injuring seven others, the Media Office of the Executive Council in the Euphrates Region, northern Syria said in a statement yesterday. 

“This targeting is part of a series of terrorist offensives carried out by the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, in light of the silence of the guarantor countries of the ceasefire,” the statement said.
