SDF repels ground offensive in northeast Syria’s Tel Tamr
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced its fighters repelled a ground offensive launched by the Turkish forces and their affiliated Syrian armed opposition factions on the town of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
Meanwhile, the Media Center of the SDF said the forces are still countering the offensive launched by the Turkish forces, adding that the clashes are violent in the vicinity of the town.
Last night, three people lost lives and four others, including three children brothers, were injured in the Turkish shelling on the countryside of Tel Tamr.
The Turkish forces and the affiliated armed factions’ bombardment of the areas in north of Hasakah, is an attempt to displace the residents of those areas, the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) said last night in a statement.
