SDF refutes SANA allegations attempting to strike security of the region

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released yesterday, a statement refuting the news published by SANA, Syrian government official news agency, concerning SDF operations.

“SANA’s purpose is to retaliate the residents who refuse to undergo the settlement process,” the SDF statement said.

“Such lies are but attempts to attract terrorist cells to strike the security and stability in the region,” the statement added.

The SDF rebutted the news published by SANA regarding an SDF operation in the town of Abu Nitel in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. The SDF affirmed they have conducted no military operations in the above mentioned area for a while.

Similarly, the SDF denied that the so-called ‘Public Resistance Factions’ attacked SDF’s fighters on the highway of al-Omar oil field, adding none of its fighters have been injured or killed.

“SANA shows fighters of the Islamic State (ISIS) to be civilians on purpose in order to mislead the public,” the SDF said referring to the ‘Public Resistance Factions’.

SANA is spreading a propaganda against the SDF to revenge from the citizens in the liberated areas of Deir ez-Zor who refused to settle their status, according to the SDF.
