Turkey, opposition factions bomb Syria’s Hasakah countryside
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – The countryside of the town of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria, was bombed on Wednesday evening by the Turkish forces and the affiliated armed opposition factions.
The Turkish forces targeted the village of al-Dardara, north of the town of Tel Tamr with artillery and mortar shells, North Press reported a source of the Tel Tamr Military Council.
The Turkish forces also fired light bombs over the area, the source added.
The Turkish bombing came two days after targeting three villages on the contact lines in the countryside of Tel Tamr.
Areas in the northern countryside of Hasakah have been under Turkish attack almost on a daily basis, causing material damage to civilians’ properties.
