Two SDF members lost lives in Syria’s Hasakah
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that two of their members lost lives while repelling the attacks of Turkey and the affiliated opposition factions yesterday in the northern countryside of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
“The two SDF members were martyred while they repelling the assaults of the Turkish forces and the opposition factions on the village of Dardara in Tel Tamr’s countryside,” the SDF Media Center said in a statement on Saturday.
One of the members came from the village of Ruguba in the countryside of Tel Tamr, while the other came from the city of Kobani, north Syria.
The village of Dardara and two Assyrian villages of Tel Shnan and Tel Jum’a in the countryside of Tel Tamr were heavily bombed yesterday by Turkey’s military along with its backed opposition factions.
The Turkish bombing came after a week of relative calm that the front lines in the countryside of Tel Tamr witnessed.
