Gunmen kill, wound two government forces’ members in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – A member of the Syrian government forces was killed and another wounded after being targeted by unidentified gunmen on the road between the towns of al-Harak and al-Maliha al-Gharbiyah in the eastern countryside of Daraa on Sunday.

Unidentified gunmen shot two members, including a first lieutenant officer, of the Brigade 52 of the Fifth Division in the government forces, killing one of them immediately, while the officer was wounded, local sources told North Press.

They two members were transported to the National Hospital in the town of al-Harak, before being transported to hospitals in the capital, Damascus, according to the sources.

Since the settlements ended in early November, killing cases and targeting of the government forces have been flaring up in Daraa governorate.
