Syria’s northwest records more than 70 new coronavirus infections
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – The Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced yesterday the recording of 74 new cases of coronavirus, 193 recoveries and a death in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 544 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas in northwest Syria has risen to 92,229 including 2,244 deaths and 62,366 recoveries.
