Government-held areas record 102 new coronavirus cases

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded, on Tuesday, five deaths and 102 new coronavirus infections in its areas of control.

The deaths were one each in Damascus, Homs, Latakia, Daraa, and Tartus.

Meanwhile, the media office recorded 94 new recoveries.

The new infections were 22 in Tartus, 20 in Suwayda, 14 in Damascus, 12 in Daraa, 11 in Rif Dimashq, 10 in Hama, six each in Aleppo and Latakia and one in Hasakah.

The total toll of the confirmed coronavirus infections in government-held areas has come up to 48,170, including 2,749 deaths and 29,172 recoveries.

On November 29, the media office of the Syrian Ministry of Health recorded five deaths, 103 infections and 97 recoveries.
