Syria’s northwest records 86 new coronavirus infections

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of 86 new cases of coronavirus, 212 recoveries and three deaths in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.

It indicated that it conducted tests for 648 suspected cases in its areas. 

With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 92,155 including 2,243 deaths and 62,173 recoveries.
