Turkish artillery shells Syria’s Aleppo northern countryside
AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – Turkish army and Turkish-backed armed opposition factions shelled the villages of Mara’anaz and Ain Daqna in Shahba areas, Aleppo northern countryside, north Syria, on Sunday.
The Turkish artillery, stationed at the Scientific Research Center on the Azaz-Yahmul road, bombarded the villages of Mara’anaz and Ain Daqna, with more than 15 shells, North Press reported a special source.
The shelling resulted in material damage, while no casualties were reported, according to the source.
More than three hundred displaced people from Afrin have been living in the northern countryside of Aleppo, since the Turkish invasion of the area in January 2018.
