Government forces hand over bodies of people they killed in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – The security services of the Syrian government forces in Daraa governorate, south Syria, handed over on Thursday the bodies of two young men who they killed yesterday on the outskirts of the town of Nahta in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
Yesterday, clashes erupted in farms on the outskirts of the town of Nahta between residents who refused the reconciliation with the government, and the government forces. Four people, including a woman, were killed in the clashes.
The dignitaries of the town of Nahta received the bodies of the two young men, Hashem al-Muf’alani and Mahmoud Hussein al-Muf’alani, from the Daraa National Hospital, local sources told North Press.
“The two young men were buried in the town,” the sources added.
However, the fate of the young man, Muhammad Shukri-Muf’alani, is still unknown, as his body was not handed over, which suggests that he was wounded when arrested, according to the sources.
Yesterday, the government forces besieged some farms that had those who refused the settlements with the government last month.
The government forces stormed the farms near the towns of Nahta and al-Maliha, and clashes took place between the two sides for two hours.
