Bedouin man killed by Military Police in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, a young Bedouin man from Suwayda, south Syria, was killed by Syrian government forces in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

The young Ibrahim Abdullah Abu Thalith was killed by the Abu Ali al-Lahham group of the Military Security Division of the government forces, which is based in the town of Umm Walad, private sources said.

In another context, the Air Force Intelligence of the government forces raided the Bedouin tents on the outskirts of the town of al-Gharya al-Sharqiyah in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

The security members beat one of the residents in front of his children as he tried to prevent them from entering the tent, according to the source.

A number of motorbikes and cell phones were seized during the raid, the source said.

Last month, Daraa governorate completed the settlement process brokered by Russia, during which the government forces settled the status of hundreds of the wanted.
