68 new coronavirus infections in Syria’s opposition-held areas
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, the Syrian Interim Government of the opposition Syrian National Council announced the recording of 68 new cases of coronavirus, 242 recoveries and one death in Idlib and Aleppo countryside, northwest Syria.
It indicated that it conducted tests for 266 suspected cases in its areas.
With the newly announced figures, the total number of coronavirus infections in the opposition-controlled areas has risen to 91,473, including 2,136 deaths and 59,016 recoveries.
