Russian-Turkish joint patrol run in Syria’s east of Kobani

KOBANI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, Russian Military Police (MP) along with Turkish forces, conducted a joint patrol in the eastern countryside of Kobani, northern Syria. This is the 78th joint patrol of the two forces conducted together.

The patrol, which included eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles, accompanied by two Russian helicopters, set off from the village of Gharib, 15 km east of Kobani.

The patrol went through several villages of Kobani and returned to the village of Gharib where it set off from.

The Turkish vehicles entered through the gate near the village of Gharib, while the Russian ones returned to the center in the Iza’a (Radio) west of Kobani.

On November 1, the Russian MP conducted the 77th joint patrol with the Turkish forces in the eastern countryside of Kobani.
