Two people injured by unknown gunmen in Syria’s Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) Unknown persons, who were riding a motorcycle, opened fire, yesterday evening at two people; one of them is a member of the government forces, in al-Mahatta Street, in the security square in the city of Hasakah, northeast Syria.

“Unidentified persons riding a motorcycle shot two people near the Real Estate Bank in al-Mahatta Street, in the security square under the control of the government forces in Hasakah,” North Press reported an informed source.

“One of the injured had severe abdominal injuries and was taken to the capital, Damascus, for treatment, while the other person was injured in the foot,” the source, who declined to be named, added. 

“It is the second time that a member of the Military Security has been targeted,” said the source, suggesting that: “it may be due to personal disputes.”
