Attackers killed civilians including child in Syria’s Daraa
DARAA, Syria (North Press) – Four people including a child were killed, yesterday, in two armed attacks in the town of al-Sanamayn, in the northern countryside of Daraa, south Syria, and another individual was killed due to explosion of war remnant in Daraa al-Balad.
Each of Basel Mahmoud Fallaha and his 13-year-old daughter Hala and Abdullah Jamal al-Farouh were killed as a result of targeting al-Fallaha’s house in al-Sanamayn town with bombs and shootings, local sources told North Press.
additionally, the attack caused four others to be wounded who were transferred to the National Hospital in the city, as their health condition were said to be good, the sources added.
Al-Fallaha was operating within the ranks of a local armed faction in favor of the Syrian government, according to the same sources.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Abu Horiya, a teacher in al-Sanamyan, was killed after being targeted by unknown armed attackers in al-Mashfa neighborhood in the town.
In Daraa al-Balad, Muhammad Radwan al-Shaddad al-Mehamid was killed on Friday night in an explosion of war remnant.
As a result of the explosion of a cluster bomb, which was left over by a shelling by the government forces against the neighborhood of Daraa al-Balad during August and September, al-Mehamid lost his life, a source close to al-Mehamid said.
During the control of the Syrian opposition factions over Syrian south, al-Mehamid operated within the ranks of the factions, the sources added.
However, al-Mehamid had his condition settled during the first settlement processes in 2018 and also joint the second ones on September 1, according to the same source.
On November 9, two civilians and a member of the Syrian government forces were killed by anonymous gunmen in Daraa, Syria’s southern city.
Additionally, al-Sanamyan town was the most fortified area that did not get out of the government control where the command of Ninth Division in addition to a number of security branches are present.
