Turkey provokes our forces in Tel Abyad and Ras al-Ain: SDF
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – The Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported new Turkish provocations on the fronts of Tel Abyad and Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) on Wednesday.
“The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue attempting to provoke our forces in the occupied countryside of Tel Abyad and Ras al-Ain,” the SDF Media Center said on its official website.
“The Turkish forces deployed a number of military vehicles in the western countryside of Tel Abyad and tried to provoke our forces in that region. The movement of Turkish military vehicles continued for more than three hours,” it said.
The front of the village of Abu Surra in the western countryside of Ain Issa witnessed moves of Turkish armored vehicles that lasted for about two hours, according to the SDF Media Center.
“In the eastern countryside of the town of Ain Issa, in particular in the village of Sherkrak, the mercenary snipers of the Turkish occupation created additional problems for the residents of the area, who have become the target of the mercenaries, especially when they go out to the farms. This prevents the residents from cultivating their lands and getting their daily food,” it noted.
“Our forces continue to urge their fighters to exercise self-control implementing the de-escalation agreement,” according to the SDF Media Center.
