Israel strikes central and coastal Syrian regions, wounding two soldiers: SANA
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Monday, two soldiers were wounded in the Israeli bombardment on the central and coastal regions in Syria, Syrian state news agency, SANA, reported.
“An Israeli air aggression targeted military points in the central and coastal regions,” said SANA, adding that some material damage was caused.
“The Syrian air defense forces confronted the aggression’s missiles and shot down most of them,” SANA added.
Earlier last week, two Syrian soldiers were wounded as a result of Israeli missile strikes targeting Rif Dimashq.
Israel has conducted hundreds of air raids on Syria in the last few years on the purpose of preventing Iranian-backed militias to establish bases on the Syrian lands.
