Targeting al-Kadhimi is targeting democracy and stability: Mazloum Abdi
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – Targeting al-Kadhimi, the Iraqi Prime Minister, is targeting the values of democracy, stability and security, said Mazloum Abdi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Monday.
In a written letter to al-Kadhimi, Abdi denounced the failed attempt of the assassination of al-Kadhimi, according to what the SDF official website reported.
On Sunday dawn, three drones bombed of al-Kadhimi’s house in the Green Zone in Baghdad.
“We felt much relief knowing that you were not hurt. We hope that Iraqi security forces were be able to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice as soon as possible,” Abdi added.
The SDF Commander-in-Chief stressed that they would continue standing with the Iraqi people and government in the joint war against terrorism, expressing at the same time, the SDF’s denunciation of the last criminal act.
Abdi wished the endurance of the security and stability for Iraq and al-Kadhimi.
