SNA spokesperson denies to North Press imminent attack on northeast Syria

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – In an exclusive statement to North Press on Monday, Youssef Hamoud, the spokesperson for the Syrian National Army (SNA), denied the news about the intention of the SNA to start a military operation in the north and northeastern regions of Syria on Tuesday, tomorrow.

On Monday evening, media and news agencies reported that Turkey intends to launch a military operation against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) tomorrow, Tuesday.

“Any military operation on Idlib areas, especially Zawiya Mountain, will be confronted,” Hamoud added.

Speaking of a military operation against northeast Syria, Erdogan said today: “Turkey may launch a military operation against northeast Syria if it is necessary,” adding: “It will be carried out when it is a must, and it cannot be undone.”
