Turkish gendarmeries kill Syrian child near Syrian border
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, Turkish border guard threw the body of a Syrian child on the border in front of the village of Arada in Zarkan (Abu Rasin) in the countryside of Hasakah.
The body of the child bore signs of physical torture and he was killed by Turkish gendarmeries, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Since the eruption of the Syrian war, the number of Syrians killed via the bullet fired by the gendarmeries reached about 487 civilians including 89 children and 45 women over 18, according to the Observatory.
On September 29, the gendarmeries fired at the 15-year-old Ahmad al-Naser, who hails from the village of Arab Khan, west of Derbasiye, while he was trying to cross the border, local sources told North Press.
Al-Naser succumbed to his injuries as residents of the village were transferring him to a hospital.
Killing incidents by Turkish gendarmeries are committed periodically. In late August, the gendarmeries killed the young man Salar Osman, from the city of Qamishli ,and Hammadi Abdulhussein, from the town of al-Doshisha in Hasakah countryside, while they were trying to cross the border.
On September 15, a medical source in Martyr Khabat Hospital in the city of Derbasiye said that four young men from Hasakah were violently hit by the gendarmeries while trying to cross the border into Turkey.
