IED explodes in Turkish truck in Syria’s east of Aleppo

AZAZ, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, an IED that was planted in a Turkish truck exploded in the city of al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, north Syria.

“An IED that was planted in a Turkish cargo truck exploded near a mosque in the city center of al-Bab city, east of Aleppo,” an exclusive source told North Press.

As a result of the explosion, only material losses were reported and fire broke out in the area where defense teams rushed to extinguish it, according to the source.

Turkey continues sending trucks loaded with cargoes to the areas held by Turkish-backed armed Syrian factions in northern Aleppo.

Turkish forces and Turkish-backed armed factions have been running al-Bab city since July 2017.

Meanwhile, those areas are witnessing security chaos amid the factions’ inability to settle security there.
