Casualties, wounded among government security forces in Syria’s Hama

HAMA, Syria (North Press) – Two members of the Internal Security Forces in the Damascus government were killed and two others were wounded on Monday in the city of Hama in central Syria, after they were targeted by unknown persons on al-Murabit Street in the city center.

Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle fired directly at four security personnel at a checkpoint on al-Murabit Street in the center of Hama, a military source told North Press.

Two militants were killed and two others wounded during the attack, and the attackers are still unknown, the source told North Press.

Last week, a car containing members of the Political Security of the Syrian government exploded on Mazarib Bridge at the northern entrance to Hama, which killied of a number of the members.
