Turkish forces bomb two villages in Syria’s Tel Tamr
TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, Turkish forces and Turkish-backed Syrian armed factions bombed two villages in the countryside of Tel Tamr town, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.
More than ten mortar and artillery shells fell on the populated Assyrian villages of Tel Tawil and Tel Karabit, west of Tel Tamr, a local source told North Press.
The bombing left material damage to the residents’ properties, according to the source.
On Sunday, Turkish forces and pro-Turkish armed factions targeted the villages of Umm al-Khair and al-Kozliya, west of the town.
For three weeks, the countryside of Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin, north of Hasakah, has been witnessing intense bombing of the Turkish forces, which resulted in the killing of a child and a woman and left large material damage to the residents’ houses and vital and service installations.
