Second batch of Daraa deportees arrives in opposition-held north Syria
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the second batch of Daraa al-Balad’s deportees arrived in opposition-held areas in the eastern countryside of Aleppo according to an announced agreement between Russians and Syrian government and the Central Committees in Horan.
79 people, including eight women and 26 children from Daraa al-Balad, arrived on two buses accompanied by members of Russian patrols to Abu al-Zendin crossing, west of the city of al-Bab in the countryside of Aleppo, media outlets reported.
This came two days after the first batch including eight departees who hail from Daraa, Rif Dimashq, and the countryside of Homs were deported from the city towards the Syrian north.
On Friday morning, 78 people who were departed from Daraa, arrived in al-Bara’ Mosque in the city of al-Bab, residents told North Press.
On Tuesday, the agreement reached between the Central Committee in Daraa and the Russian military police collapsed hours after the implementation of its terms due to two individuals, whom the government demanded be departed to Syrian north, who refused to be deported from Daraa al-Balad.
Meanwhile, pro-Iranian factions continued shelling the besieged nieghborhoods (Daraa al-Balad, Tariq al-Sad, and the camps) in Daraa city.
