HASAKAH, Syria (North Press) – Last night, Turkish forces bombed inhabited villages in the countryside of the towns of Tel Tamr and Zargan (Abu Rasin), north of Hasakah, northeastern Syria.
Turkish forces and the Turkish-backed armed opposition factions targeted the villages of Umm Harmala, Harmala, Kasra, and Umm al-Diyab in the countryside of Abu Rasin, a source in the Tel Tamr Military Council reported.
The indiscriminate shelling continued from ten in the evening until after midnight.
No casualties were reported, while the shells caused material damage to some houses.
Similar Turkish shelling was also renewed on the village of al-Dardara, north of Tel Tamr.
On Tuesday, a child and a woman lost their lives and others were wounded as a result of the Turkish shelling of the town of Zargan and several surrounding villages in northeast Syria.
About 15 people, including children, were wounded, and six of them were transferred to People’s Hospital in Hasakah while the other wounded were transferred to hospitals in Derbasiya and Amuda.
On Thursday, four leaders of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) died in a Turkish air attack on the headquarters of the Military Council in the town of Tel Tamr.
On Thursday, a Turkish drone targeted a car belonging to the AANES on the Qamishli-Amuda road near the Ali Faro junction, killing a leader in the People’s Protection Units (YPG).
On Sunday, a Turkish drone targeted a military vehicle in the village of Himo in the western countryside of Qamishli city, northeast Syria.
