Turkey drone strikes military vehicle in Syria’s Qamishli

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Sunday, a Turkish drone targeted a military vehicle in the village of Himo in the western countryside of Qamishli city, northeast Syria.

“A Turkish drone, a short while ago, bombed a military vehicle that was parked near a medical center in the vicinity of Himo village in the western countryside of Qamishli,” military sources said.

“An unknown numbers of injuries were reported,” according to the sources.

This is the fourth time that Turkish drones have targeted military sites and medical and civilian centers in northeastern Syria in less than 72 hours, according to the sources.

On Thursday, a Turkish drone targeted another car belonging to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on the Qamishli-Amuda road near the Ali Faro junction, killing a leader in the People’s Protection Units (YPG).
