Turkey shells villages in Syria’s Afrin countryside

ALEPPO, Syria (North Press) – On Saturday at dawn, Turkish artillery shelled populated houses in the village of Burj al-Qalas in the countryside of Afrin, northwest Syria.

Turkish forces continue their violations in the region via shelling continuously towns and villages of the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Turkish forces stationed in the Scientific Research Center in the village of Naddah, east of Azaz city, shelled the village of Burj al-Qalas in Sherawa district of Afrin countryside, north of Aleppo, with heavy artillery shells, an exclusive sources told North Press.

The Turkish forces targeted civilian homes in the town with dozens shells, the source added.
