DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, garbage men in a town in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria, found the body of a young man that showed signs of torture, without knowing the cause of the killing.

“The garbage men found the body of Abdullah al-Ghallab, 32, a resident of the town of al-Baghouz, near a dumpsite in the nearby Desert,” a source close to the family in the town, said.

“Al-Ghallab had disappeared since leaving the house five days ago, until his body was found this afternoon in the garbage dump, bearing signs of physical torture,” the source added.

“Al-Ghallab was not affiliated to any political party or military faction.”
