Turkey bombs villages of Syria’s Tel Tamr

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the Turkish forces and Turkish-backed armed factions targeted the vicinity of an electricity transfer station and some villages located near Tel Tamr, northeast Syria, with artillery shells and mortars.

More than a week ago, the Turkish forces escalated their bombardment of Tel Tamr and its countryside, targeting villages in the area.

“Turkish shells fell on the villages of al-Dardara and Tel Shanan in the countryside of Tel Tamr in the early hours of Tuesday morning and the bombardment continued for half an hour,” a source in the Tel Tamr Military Council said.

Several shells fell on the vicinity of the electricity transfer station located near the Russian base, north of Tel Tamr, according to the source.
