Syria’s Tel Abyad Council denounces Turkey’s crimes against civilians
RAQQA, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the Council of Tel Abyad of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) denounced the crime affected the unarmed civilians in the town of Ain Issa, north of Raqqa, northern Syria.
Four people from one family were killed and two others were wounded due to the Turkish forces and affiliated opposition factions’ shelling of the countryside of Ain Issa.
In a statement, the Tel Abyad Council said that the Turkish violations are not limited only to the areas under its control in northern Syria, but they extend to the Autonomous Administration-held areas.
The statement, which was read by Hazza’ Muhammad, the co-chair of the Tel Abyad Council, added that Turkey has an expansionist ideology that fuels massacres against defenseless civilians, and it is practicing a policy of demographic change in northern Syria, while the international community turns a blind eye to these crimes and practices.
The statement called for the need to stop the massacres carried out by Turkey against the Syrian people, and to stop the expansionist ambitions of Turkey in the Arab countries and the countries of the Middle East.
