Graduating a thousand SDF fighters in Syria’s Hasakah

HASAKAH, Syria (North Press ) – This evening, the Martyr Dilsoz Afrin Academy of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the southern countryside of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, graduated two military courses for 1,000 fighters that lasted for more than three months.

A source at the academy said that the first course included 850 fighters of the Self-Defense Forces in its fortieth session, and the seventh for the commando forces, which included 150 fighters.     

The graduation ceremony was attended by a delegation of the US-led Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, dozens of members of the forces, social and political activities, sheikhs and dignitaries of clans, and families of the graduating fighters.

The graduation ceremonies included some military parades for the Self-Defense Forces and the commandos.
