Government forces bomb opposition sites in Syria’s northwest

IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – On Friday, the de-escalation zone in Idlib and Aleppo, northwest Syria, witnessed a renewed exchange of bombing between Turkish-backed opposition factions and Syrian government forces in Hama, Idlib, and Aleppo, northwest Syria, amid intense flight of Russian reconnaissance aircraft.

Government forces stationed in Jorin camp bombed the faction’s fortifications in the village of Zizoun, located in the Ghab Plain area in the western Hama countryside, with artillery shells and rockets, military sources in the opposition told North Press.

A civilian was wounded due to the bombing.

The bombing targeted the locations of the factions in the villages and towns of al-Fateira, Ain Larouz, al-Bara and Horsh Benin in the Zawiya Mountain area, south of Idlib, causing significant material damage to public and private property.

In Aleppo, government forces in the 46th Regiment targeted opposition factions sites in the towns of Atarib and Kaframa, located in the western countryside of Aleppo, with dozens of shells, without information about casualties, according to opposition sources.

In turn, the Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room, which includes several armed factions, announced that it bombed military positions of the government forces in Jurin camp and al-Khiam barrier, west of Hama.
