Turkey and opposition bomb villages in Syria’s Hasakah countryside

TEL TAMR, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, the Turkish army and the affiliated armed opposition factions targeted the countryside of the town of Tel Tamr, north of Hasakah, northeast Syria.

“The Turkish forces and the opposition factions targeted the populated village of al-Dardara, north of Tel Tamr, with mortar and artillery shells,” a military source in the area said.

The bombing has not yet caused any casualties, but the villagers have been forced to flee towards the center of the town and the neighboring village, according to the source.

This bombing comes three days after the Turkish army targeted the villages of al-Dardara, al-Tawila, al-Kozaliya and Tel Tawil in the countryside of Tel Tamr.
