Government bombing wipes out entire family in Syria’s Daraa

DARAA, Syria (North Press) – On Thursday, a woman and her 5 children were killed by the government forces’ bombardment on the town of al-Yadouda in the southwestern countryside of Daraa, south Syria.

“The residents pulled the bodies of the children from the rubble after a missile hit their house and turned it to rubble,” said an eyewitness from the town.  

The 285th Artillery Brigade of the government forces, which is stationed on the northern outskirts of the city of Darra, shelled a house in the town of al-Yadouda with a ground-to-ground missile, destroying the house completely, including those in it.

Earlier today, the town of al-Yadouda was shelled by the government forces’ artillery, killing dozens.  

Today morning, the Fourth and Ninth Divisions of the government forces attacked local oppositions in Daraa al-Balad region. 

The neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad were  indiscriminately bombed with rocket launchers. The areas of al-Sad Road neighborhood, al-Bahhar, Daraa Camp and al-Karak were also targeted with several mortar shells and anti-aircraft guns.
