19 new coronavirus cases recorded in Syrian government-held areas
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 19 new coronavirus infections and two deaths in its areas of control.
The media office said that the two deaths were one in Damascus and one in Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of eight new recoveries.
The new cases were eight in Damascus, three each in Hama, Homs and Latakia, and two in Aleppo.
The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 25,930, including 1,911 deaths and 21,969 recoveries.
On Tuesday, the government-held areas recorded 19 new coronavirus infections, one death, and six recoveries.
