US forces patrol in Syria’s Derik countryside

DERIK, Syria (North Press) – On Wednesday, the American forces conducted a military patrol in the countryside of Derik, in the far northeast Syria.

Local sources from the village of Ain Diwar in Derik’s northern countryside told North Press that the patrol stopped in the village in the afternoon.

The patrol consisted of four armored military vehicles, with no air cover.

Social media circulated a video clip, saying that an American patrol intercepted a Russian one in Alyan area in the countryside of Girke Lege, and then it turned into a fist fight between the two patrols.

Last week, the American forces conducted a military patrol of 4 armored vehicles. The patrol stopped in the village of Rubarya and spoke with villagers.
