Low toll of coronavirus infection in government-held areas

QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On Tuesday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 6 new coronavirus infections and one death in its areas of control.

The government’s media office stated on its Facebook account that the new death was in Aleppo.

Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of four new recoveries.

The new cases were three in Damascus, one each in Aleppo and Suwayda, and Raqqa.

The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 25,801, including 1,900 deaths and 21,893 recoveries.

On Monday, the government-held areas recorded 10 new coronavirus infections, one death, and five recoveries.
