Syrian government-held areas record 33 new coronavirus cases
QAMISHLI, Syria (North Press) – On, Monday, the media office of the Ministry of Health of the Syrian government recorded 33 new coronavirus infections and two deaths in its areas of control.
The government’s media office stated on its Facebook account that the new deaths were one each in Homs and Aleppo.
Meanwhile, the media office announced the recording of six new recoveries.
The new cases were 13 in Aleppo, 12 in Damascus, three in Hama, two each in Homs and Latakia, and one in Tartus.
The total toll of the infections in the government-held areas has come up to 25,686, including 1,889 deaths and 21,856 recoveries.
On Saturday, the government-held areas recorded 34 new coronavirus infections, two deaths, and five recoveries.
